BEHIND THE MUSIC
In 2021, Jake teamed up with his friend and producer Tyson Boorman from Dinosaur Dog Studio to produce five of his own original songs, which are now available on all streaming platforms.
Throughout 2022, Jake and Tyson are collaborating to produce a dozen covers of your favorite worship songs in a variety of different genres, ranging from acoustic and lo-fi to pop and rock. Stay tuned each month as a new song is released!
BIO
Jake has been playing music all his life, starting with piano lessons in the 1st grade. In 2009, he moved from Portland to Boise for college, joining the college's music team to play worship music across the Northwest.
During his last year of college, he began working at Eagle Christian Church as a pastor overseeing music and college ministries.
He went on to get his Master's of Arts in New Testament and Preaching from Johnson University.
In 2018, he joined with his friend Josh Branham to start Hill City Church in the heart of Boise where he now serves as the associate pastor, overseeing music and small groups.
Jake lives with his wife and daughter in Boise where he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and all things coffee.
